Good sized rooms with beautiful views and balcony. the private outdoor onsens were a great way to relax and enjoy the unique hot springs experience. the staff were helpful and spoke good English.
The location was quite isolated with no options for lunch on the grounds, so we had to go into town during the day. the hotel's shuttle service was often very crowded, making it uncomfortable for us to travel back and forth to the train station.

This Japanese-style hotel is conveniently located right next to the railway track, making it easily accessible for travelers. the rooms are tastefully decorated, with minimalist Japanese décor and comfortable futons. the hotel offers a range of onsen options, including both public and private baths. the breakfast served is delicious with a good variety of options. the hotel rooms have a lovely view of the hill, and guests can relax in yukatas provided by the hotel.
The hotel could improve on maintaining cleanliness of carpets and cushions in the rooms.

During our Xmas stay, we truly enjoyed the variety of hot baths available at the ryokan, including a private open-air bath. The location was also convenient for those driving and wanting to explore the area. the meals provided were top-notch and offered a great sampling of local cuisine.
The ryokan was quite crowded during our stay which made the overall experience less enjoyable. The slow service during meal times was also a letdown, as we had to wait for basic requests such as water and utensils.

Nothing.
